The plans offer the ability to make adjustments with some restrictions by Housing Code's, but the ability to stretch the home is available on most**, most plans also give the ability to add a addition to the home. Some key note standards are 8 foot flat ceilings with the ability to go to 9 foot flat ceilings, finished drywall throughout standard with finished corners, full tile backsplash in kitchen, 6" tile backsplash in baths, 18 oz carpet is standard and 38 oz carpet available, laminate flooring available, 16" on center floor joist (2x6, 2x8 or 2x10) , 19/32" tongue and groove floor decking, perimeter heat vents, 2x4 stud walls 16" on center (2x6 exterior available), full OSB wrap on exterior, R-30 in ceiling insulation, engineered roof trusses, 20 year shingle standard on HUD with 30 year architectural shingle available on 3/12 pitch roof and 30 year architectural shingle standard on 6/12 pitch roof (6/12 standard pitch roof for NORRIS Series modular in N.C.), single tilt in low-e thermal pane windows with available upgrade of double hung low-e thermal pane available, large cove and baseboard moldings available, fireplace's with full stack-stone, 1/2 stack-stone, tile surround come as either wood burning or gas log ready. UL listed tapes and duct mastic are used to seal all joints and seams in the ductwork. All Norris homes are built using premium mastic sealer.

 

ENERGY STAR® qualified homes are independently verified to be at least 30% more energy efficient than homes built to the 1993 national Model Energy Code or 15% more efficient than state energy code, whichever is more rigorous.
